What Is Tabvora?
Tabvora is a Chrome extension that replaces your browser's default New Tab page with an organized, customizable dashboard. Instead of a blank page or a handful of recent sites, Tabvora gives you a searchable, unlimited grid of shortcuts, grouped into workspaces you define yourself. It's built for people who keep a lot of tabs, bookmarks, and daily routines open, and who want everything in one place — without handing their browsing data to a server somewhere.
Every core feature runs entirely on your device using Chrome's local storage and IndexedDB. There is no account to create, no sign-in, and no cloud sync — your dashboard belongs to you, and only you

Unlimited Tabs & Shortcuts
Save as many website shortcuts as you want. Tabvora uses virtual scrolling to render the grid, so performance stays smooth whether you have ten shortcuts or several hundred — the page doesn't slow down as your collection grows.
Tab Customization & Workspaces
Organize shortcuts into custom workspaces (for example, "Work," "Study," or "Personal"). Reorder shortcuts with drag-and-drop, pin your most-used sites to the top, and assign color labels so you can spot the right shortcut at a glance. You can also switch between grid card sizes and spacing to fit your screen.
Instant Search
Type to instantly filter your saved shortcuts — useful once your collection grows past what fits on one screen.
One-Click Add & Bookmark Import
Right-click any page or link and choose "Add to Tabvora" to save it instantly. You can also import your existing Chrome bookmarks into the dashboard with a single click.
Quick Notes
A simple scratchpad widget built into the dashboard. Jot down quick notes, see a live character count, and export your notes to a plain text file whenever you want a copy.
Live Clock
A clean live clock and date widget right on your new tab page.
Draft Recovery (Not a Password Manager)
Draft Recovery is an optional, off-by-default feature. When you turn it on, Tabvora can locally save unsaved text you're typing into ordinary web forms — like a comment box, contact form, or long text field — so you don't lose your work if a tab accidentally closes. If a saved draft is found the next time you visit that page, Tabvora offers to restore it. All of this happens entirely on your device; nothing is sent anywhere.
Website Usage Statistics
Another optional, off-by-default feature. When enabled, Tabvora locally tracks how much time you spend on specific websites and shows you simple statistics, so you can understand your own browsing habits. All calculations happen and stay on your device.
Daily Time Limits & Real-Time Alerts
If you want to manage your time on a specific site, you can set a daily time limit for any saved shortcut. Once you reach that limit, Tabvora shows a real-time on-page alert letting you know — with the option to continue browsing, adjust the limit, or dismiss the reminder for the day.
Backup & Restore
Export your entire shortcut collection to a file at any time, and import it back whenever you need to — whether you're setting up a new computer or just keeping a personal backup.
Light & Dark Theme
Switch between light and dark mode, or let Tabvora follow your system preference automatically.
Privacy & Data Handling
Tabvora follows a local-first approach:

Is Tabvora free?
Yes, Tabvora is free to use.
Does Tabvora store my passwords?
No. Tabvora is not a password manager. Its Draft Recovery feature specifically excludes password fields, payment fields, and similar sensitive inputs.
Is my data uploaded anywhere?
No. Shortcuts, notes, settings, and any data from optional features stay stored locally in your browser unless you choose to export them yourself.
